Southern Nevada mining focus of online archive

"Southern Nevada: The Boomtown Years 1900-1925" is a searchable online archive of newspaper articles, photographs, maps, mining company records and letters.

It's housed by UNLV University Libraries, who've teamed with the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society and Clark County Heritage Museum. There are more than 4,000 digitized items, including photos of miners at work, interiors of houses, and the Minutes of the Goldfield Women's Club.
